Street Style | Isobel

Isobel likes to play ukelele. I love her asymmetric wavy short hair and I love how she wore acid grey denim with classic blue denim. Her frilly socks are the best. Isobel wears Sportsgirl shirt, Thrifted skirt, Ziggy jacket, Thrifted London Rebel Shoes, Topshop socks, Thrifted Bag.

Street Style | Janelle

Little black dresses (LBD) are a wardrobe essential for night and day wear. LBD's work well when paired with understated accessories and a hint of leopard. Janelle wears Le Sport glasses, Asos dress, bag and necklace from Melbourne.

Street Style | Charlie

Charlie is a bookworm and one of her favourite authors is Primo Levi. She puts together an unexpected combination of a delicate floral print with a wintery checkered pattern. Charlie wears Inspired By Nan blouse (Melbourne),  Oliver People glasses, Dangerfield shorts.

Street Style | Rebecca

Rebecca's monochromatic ensemble is understated. White is used to accentuate her figure. Rebecca wears Cotton On sunnies, Pandora necklace, Elite watch and Zara skirt.

Street Style | Leili

Leili loves listening to seventies metal; Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. She wears a sundress with a large print and layers it with a cropped mesh top. Cropped tops are good for creating an illusion of extra height when worn with full length dresses (quarter up the top, three quarters for the bottom). Leili wears Mimco hat, Lipservice Cult top, Wish dress, K Jacques shoes, Cobra Snake choker, clover necklace from hometown Iran.

Street Style | Mackenzie

Mackenzie modelled for Emma Mulholland's SPACED OUT collection. The easiest way to mix and match is to choose prints in a similar scale and colour. The aliens and geometric shapes are of similar size and both top and shorts have neon green. Mackenzie wears Emma Mulholland shirt and Cream on King St shorts.

Street Style | Angel

You will notice in Sydney that sneakers are now worn with skirts and dresses. No one needs to pretend that ballet flats are the most comfortable style of shoe (unless you have found the perfect pair, then lucky you!). Sequins are usually associated with NYE and night clubbing but Angel's glitter shades compliment her sequinned bumbag so well that it makes an effortless transition to daywear. Angel wears a Pelvis jumper, Verner (Melbourne) sarong, Thrifted sunnies & bumbag bag.

Street Style | Josh & Isobel

Josh's favourite genre of music is UK Garage. What I like about his button up shirt and shorts is that they are well fitted and durable. As a messy eater, I prefer clothes that hide food stains and are wrinkle free especially if they are amongst my occasional floordrobe. Josh wears Neuw Denim top and Vanishing Elephant shorts.
Isobel is a sushi lover. Her sheer blouse gives a soft feminine touch and her shoes give a splash of colour. Isobel wears American Apparel blouse, Rayban shades, Funkis tote, and shoes (somewhere in Mosman).

Street Style | Clare & Chloe

Clare wears a lightweight blouse with voluminous sleeves and an asymmetric skirt (notice the slight sheen) and Kinokuniya canvas tote. Chloe wears a chambray panelled shift dress with accessories in a different shade of brown to her shoes. The beauty of buying summer clothes with a natural fibre in this style is that it can still look acceptable with minimal ironing.

Street Style | Jasmine

Playsuits are practical and you can be carefree when the wind blows. The short hemline elongates the legs (and you can work on that tan). As an alternative to the usual floral print we see during Spring and Summer, we now have geometric tribal prints for casual wear, sports wear and of course mens wear.

Street Style | Jules

Jules goes for a relaxed and loose fitted midriff tee with drawstring shorts. Navy blue is also known as 'diet black' because it serves almost the same purpose as black but with less intensity.

Street Style | Alex in Sport Luxe

Alex's outfit gives a subdued galaxy Sport Luxe feel; pastel denim, reflective shades, sport logos and a quirky hair-do. It's low key yet upbeat at the same time :)

Street Style | Tee Shirt Dress

Some trends are easier to translate from catwalk to street. Invest in good quality accessories that stand the test of time and pair it with a statement shirt dress of your liking. Her sleeved dress is from General Pants Co. Not to be confused with the 'boyfriend t-shirt', t-shirt dresses are surprisingly flattering on a petite frame.

Street Style | Love from Byron

Subtle tie dye dress with crotchet & embroidery detail on bodice. Natural fabrics paired with leather accessories are versatile and perfect for our Summer in Australia.

Street Style | Colour Gradient

Coordinating outfits to hair colour with a chain top and reflective ankle cuffs. A touch of silver accessories tie together a crisp look.

Street Style | Unfinished edges

It's refreshing to see people experiment with texture and fabric choice not only for Winter but also warmer days. The frayed bodice adds character to the boxy silhouette and the beaded choker necklace gives variety in colour. What are the odds of finding a pair of shorts in the exact same shade of classic blue?

Street Style | Johanna

Johanna wears a quaint checkered A-line dress that is thrifted. The silhouette works well with her slender figure.
Nineties vibe.

Street Style | Su

Su puts a twist on vintage wear with turquoise accessories, an almost matching floral patterned clutch ( oh and her tattoo). I can't pinpoint one fashion rule she used for accessorising that day.. but it works! Su wears Luxe Boutique dress and belt, Ferragamo shoes, Alexander McQueen De Manta clutch, Hermes Clic-Clac H bracelet, Chanel Vintage bracelet, and earrings gift from sister (from India?)
